Turkey Vulture from today
#1

Hey ST, long time no see, I was out today and saw this Turkey Vulture hovering up in the sky. Quiet a large bird, size of a bald eagle. The crows were not too happy about it, lemme tell ya! Smile

I was already missing your pictures John... Smile

I don't know those birds well... they look indeed like big birds.
I also didn't know that turkeys can fly that high!!

Turkeys can't, but the Turkey Buzzard can. (We call vultures buzzards here)
It's a carrion-feeder that wishes it was a Condor, but is a little smaller.
The 'turkey' part of their name comes from the bald pink head.
