2nd shot is excellent. Maybe a little touch of the Shadow/highlight tool but I'm not sure you have that.

Sit, stay, ok, hold it! Awww, no drooling! :O

Thanks Irma.

What does the shadow-highlight tool do?

In my Photoshop version it is two tools, called dodge and burn. (A throw back to film.)
One lightens, the other darkens. You can alter the diameter of the tool to suit and the intensity of it.

Lumix LX5.
Canon 350 D.+ 18-55 Kit lens + Tamron 70-300 macro. + Canon 50mm f1.8 + Manfrotto tripod, in bag.

Very nice animals Don, The first one is a lill underexposed, but it could of been easily fixed in PSPX, using the fill flash tool or in PS CS2. using the shadow tool. We also have a squirrel thread, you could post this in. It's up to you tho. Thanx for sharing! Wink

Actually, the shadow/highlight adjustments are by clicking on,
image>adjustments>shadow/highlights
It's works a little differently from the dodge and burn tools. The defog action that is available would also add a little punch.
