Montezinho is a small isolated village near Spanish border. Surrounding are hills, in places very steep (no photos there - no place to stop) and in some places milder and roling. Much of this land is rocky and is not farmed. Here is a selection of photos which give you some idea of the terrain.
The first photo is just east of the village on the way in, the other photos are further north on the way to Spanish border. Some of these may in fact be in Spain. The rows you see on one of the photos are a result of planting trees to reduce erosion. As you can see from the photos, this is not exactly a densely populated area.
