So some campers failed to extinguish their fire just above Wishon Dam, causing CalFire to have to send out this guy who made many water drop to extinguish the resulting fire.

Nice 'action' shot Craig; just shows how a little carelessness might cause great devastation. It seems the firefighters were quick on the scene. Photography is a never-ending journey

hope they were able to get it put out quickly before too much damage occurred. nice capture, great timing to get the water in the trees but still visible.

About 2 miles away, across the reservoir so safe this time. When I was shooting last year at the French fire I was under the departure path and did get a splash or two.
