Wireless Hard Drive
I was on my way to lunch yesterday and saw something in a computer shop window - a wireless hard drive! Not that I would know what to do with one, but wow! I was basically an external HDD enclosure with wireless networking built in - 802.11G so 54 Megabits per second.
![]() If you had one computer, it would be pointless as a USB2 connection would do just as well. I suppose it would be handy as a network store or if you had a few computers in a wireless network and wanted some common storage. Just doing some musing here - what if you had a studio setup so that your camera (with wifi adapter) could connect to it and upload photos to it?
