:Has anybody taken Pictures of rock formation like the Grand Canyon or mountains? The reason is I’m going to take pictures of rock Formation and Caves in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Going to take a tour boat down the Wisconsin River like H.H Bennett did back in the early Years. Has anybody been in Wisconsin dells and seen the rock formation down the river. How should I take a good picture of rock formation down the river.

1. How should set up my Iso, lighting, and etc. to take a good picture down the river?

\ thanks

Tripod when you can, stop down as much as possible. A Monopod works fairly well on the boat, as long as the engine isn't causing too much vibration, not an issue on paddle boats of course.

Wait for the light. Dramatic lighting such as sunup or sundown will greatly improve the quality of your images.
