Its not as bad as i thought to mf for kid snaps, eventhough you can miss those precious moments and expression that you otherwise manage to caputre with af(even if its by accident) I cant wait to try out the Zeiss 100mm/2 (wich i just ordered) for portraits. #1 is beautiful, fantastic portrait with nice DOF and bokeh. must be a great lense indeed! I like your colors, too, very nice skin tones, and a great subject as ever.
