1 daytime photo + 1 nighttime photo taken from the same location, add layer mask with black-to-white gradient fill and voila:

What a fantastic concept! Thanks for sharing. Did you wait it out, or come back later and set up as exact as possible? Looks a smidgen blurry in spots, which I assume is from a reset? If one had the time, it would be really great to wait it out from day to night.

Yeah, i didn't actually intend to do this at the time, I just had the idea when i was looking through the photos and thought "hey, i wonder if this would work". it isn't matched up exactly.
Great concept and for having done it without intentionally taking the shots for that purpose the result is great as well!.
Yeah, considering the time difference not bad and that explains the lill blurr.
