Now this is getting pretty sad - a link to a page of links , but I thought it might be of interest. Rob Galbraith has compiled a list of "photos of the 2006" galleries that various sites have put up.

I think mine definitely has to be #2 on the Nat Geo site - what a wierd and wonderful rainbow!

the python was ewww but interesting.

I liked the one of the bear who was chased up a tree by a ginger cat see National Geographic photos

Just looking through more photos on the nat geo site - this one has definitely got to be my favourite for today. (It's not in the Top 10 for 2006 though)

The rainbow is nice but the Sports Illustrated #1 takes the cake...
