Sturnus Vulgaris - Common Starling.
Noisy birds but quite agile. Taken with the Panasonic TZ27. Still experimenting.

Very clean shot. What lens is that?

It is a Panasonic Lumix TZ27 P&S pocket size camera with a 1/2" sensor and 20x/40x zoom. Lens is Leica elmarit.
No point me having a mobile phone so this more or less, is a carry everywhere.
Not as good picture quality as the LX5, which has a larger sensor but only 4x zoom.
Same model as this one but without GPS.

It also shoots square format? Or is the framing a habit taken from the LX5?

No, sorry its a small crop to hide the window frame and clothes post.
I normally shoot 4:3 or 3:2. Depends if I am mixing shots with the Canon.

...and for a minute I actually thought you were outside and freezing to make the photo
Love the bird

No, I don't like cold weather. I've ordered a central heated coffin for later.
If I open the door the birds fly off.
Thanks for the comments.
