hi peeps, i purchased a nikkor 50mm f1.8 lens and it has arrived, but the little catch on the aperture ring has been broken off, its the catch that pushes the triangular button in to tell my d3100 that it is locked in f22. all i am getting is an error message telling me to lock aperture ring in....... is there any way i can repair or replace this ?

Doubtful if it's self repairable. Should have some form of Guarantee/Redress? Ed.
