freezing river morning - gerainte - Jan 4, 2014

Hi any suggestions on these would be appreciated , one the blue one is HDR. The first I have tried.

Second pic is my personal favourite, I love how you captured the orange and the way the water is moving.

I've just noticed what I think are spots on the sensor seen in the sky what do people think?

For my money it has to be Number Two. Obviously it's only a personal opinion, but two is far and away the better one.

thanks for the comments. first time with HDR and it is very different effect, just about natural, as it was -3.
I do like both and it's interesting to hear other views. thanks

I like the first one. It hardly looks like HDR (which is a good thing), so many people go over the top with HDR . I think it might be even better as monochrome - the colours do not bring so much with them - and concentrate on the lines and tones.

I do not like the second one, mainly because I do not like sunsets/rises.

Not thought to look at it in B&W will try it and see, thanks for the suggestion
