Canon TV mode - johnytrout - May 5, 2014

If I am in TV mode using a Canon 650D and decide to boost the shutter speed up to 400 or 800, does the AV and ISO automatically set themselves to suit.
I get a dark picture because the F stop number does not go low enough.

I need some help here please.
Am trying to get some Blue Tit shots in mid flight.
The shutter speed needs to be up to 2000 - 4000 but my aperture sets at 5 and that comes out too dark.
I tried upping the ISO to nearly top limit. The bird is actually froze in motion but way too grainy.
Is my 650D good enough or do I need to change my camera for a wider aperture one ............... or ever full frame ???

How good was the light you were shooting, time of day? Post your result. Ed.

I want to upload some photos but they are too big.
If I resize them I lose the EXIF Information.
If I crop to 30% they are still too big

Upload to Box, or similar, and post a Link? Ed.

I've not tried this as yet but here goes.
These are the kind of photos are what I want, but I need to know how to get them crisp and clear.
My ISO was high and I know that makes the pics look grainy.
How do I get the right setting?
