Predator Shieldbug - Plantsman - Nov 5, 2014

Picomerus bidens predating on a sawfly larva. A bit gory but an interesting shot so I took the opportunity. Note the characteristic thorn-like shoulders and it's protruding proboscis by which it sucks out the contents of it's prey.
Also called the 'spined' stinkbug.
