Nice series.... The Snowdrops are out in BC but we in Alberta won't see them for several more weeks... :-(

Nice series, So little water in California for the last 4 years that the wildflowers seasons are really short and very early. That and the few flowers we are getting aren't of the usual quality.

Thanks for your comments. Hodsock is a pleasant place to visit at snowdrop time, I usually visit annually in February and sometimes in May for the bluebells. Those are the two occasions open to the public, otherwise it seems to be a venue for weddings and corporate events.
We have many lived-in historic buildings in Yorkshire where the gardens are maintained and open to the public in their season. My favorites are Newby Hall Gardens -
