Milky Way, First attempt. - EnglishBob - Aug 15, 2015

Decided to try my hand at shooting some stars, this is the first time I have attempted this.

Tonight I drove up into the Sierra Nevada Mountains, about 75 minutes from home and to an elevation of 6000'. The wind has shifted and so the Wildfire smoke was blowing away from the area I was in.

Canon 5DIII, 20s, F/2.8, ISO 3200, 24mm.
