Wow, thats horrible! Did everyone manage to escape, or did it happen while they were in the house?
What is the pinky thing in picture 3... is it roof insulation, or... as I first thought.. meat?

The pink stuff is indeed roof insulation.
My mother in law was staying with relatives during the storm and is fine.
