Foggy scenes - Irma - Jun 24, 2007

One day last week we experienced something really great.
There was a clear afternoon, with blue sky, and suddenly the fields where totally foggy. I thought at the beginning it was smoke, something burning in the neighbour's farm, but it was fog! We went for the cameras and walked to the big garden. As we don't have great landscape there I took some close scenes from the place.

I think the foggy coloured ones are best.Wink
I used to like the fog, you could be anonymous in broad daylight. Like Harry Potter with his invisibility cloak.

Thanks NT, for your comment. I also find the colored ones better.

Foggy pictures are always so difficult, specially when you don't have a great subject. But I don't give up, you never know when you will get the winner... Wink

Hey! I didn't know you were Harry Potter fan... Smile

I'm not, but Hermione! zoooooshBig Grin (thank heaven for little girls, they grow up in the most delightful way)

ps. I prefer the second shot with the fence in the foreground.

Many years ago I took a taxi ride up a long straight road, in a thick fog. The driver said he just steered between the gas street lamps. You could not see the next one until the last one was just fading behind you.
Of course there were not many cars then.

Number 2 is fantastic - the DOF, the drops clinging to the grass. I love it.

Thanks so much for your comment... Smile

I am happy you like them. And the best of all is that they were taken in the garden, no need to go too far... Smile
