Review very welcome. Photo from Unionville, on the edge of Toronto. Nikkor 50mm/1.4 @ f/11, 1/250sec ISO 100. As I was about to post, I noticed a dual outline around the figure - do not think it is a chromatic aberation but will check. Any guess?

Are you saying that the subject photographer is an aberation? He looks very serious to me. My monitor doesn't show any outline. Good job placing that handsome dude in the centre of the fountain, blocking the brightest part of the photo and preventing a big blown out area in this contrasty picture. I particularly like the way you managed to get his shorts to glow green. Good job under difficult lighting conditions.

Any dude would look handsome with those Vegas fountain feathers attached you know where...However his dance... I don't know. He is not kicking his feet high enough and his style? Photoshop does not know the concept of blown highlights, only the dark shaddows that are so deep you could not revive them without a lot of noise. Exposure is nothing a few layers can not fix. Thanks for commenting. What happened to the critical commenting I would get on that other site? You are getting too soft on me. I liked the detailed comments I used to get from you. Thank you for kind words though and the encouragement. Pavel

I see a bit of artifacts. Most probably due to compression.

Hi Pavel,
I also do not see any outline. I like this photo, and think it is "contest" material. However, I think that the photo would benefit from a 10 X 8 (or 20 X 16) crop, with the right edge just cutting out the bench in the background. Otherwise, I wouldn't change a thing.

NT - What artifacts do you see? The outline of photographer is visible even in the RAW as a double line. It looks like as if 2 images were superimposed, one a pixel or 2 bigger than the other. Thanks NT.

Gary - Thanks.
