I suggest next time you try to lay down low so that the people and the tree will appear bigger. I'd like the people to be closer but my style is to usually crop tight. There's some red color on the tr...

The depth of field will also depend on the objective, the focal length used in capturing an image and the distance of the subject from your camera. As a rule of thumb, if you want the whole scene in f...

If you're in Manual mode, you can choose the aperture and then try to focus on your subject or the background in order to see how much light there is. The camera knows then what the shutter speed shou...

I was looking for a tablet themed topic before starting one myself. I guess I could continue with this one instead even though it's quite old. So, what updates or stories do you have, do you own a tab...

Yes, I know those places. I've got some other work from those sites but it's true that it's often not worth the time to bid for some small job because there's a lot of competition and people who will ...

Interesting video. This is his style but I don't know if street photographers generally go around like that just snapping pictures as they go along. I felt like he almost didn't have a clear aim or pu...

I don't like the blur to be honest, it makes the photo look cheapish. It would be difficult to say what it is all about if one didn't know,it could as well be for example a wall. It would be better if...

The ones that I really liked: 1. Just because someone has an expensive camera doesn’t mean that they’re a good photographer. 9. Capture the beauty in the mundane and you have a winning photograph. 10...

You should have moved more to left. Also I feel this photo would work better if it was horizontal and not vertical as there's too much space. The sign should be hidden somewhere.

I like especially the second one with its hazy, dream look. Also the third and fourth are nice. I generally like IR photos but don't really appreciate HDR, at least in most cases.

Especially the first one looks very cool and professional, like fit for an album cover. I always dream about taking these kind of shots but eventually I always take quite boring ones instead.

I once thought about selling my photos in some stock photo site but they required a better camera model than the one I had. Besides, like people say, it's not that productive economically.

Nice one, didn't think of the car ad aspect first but yes, this could have potential if the car was more visible and recognizable. I think deserts often look actually better in photos than in person, ...

I haven't. I've only ever shot in one wedding and it was a family affair so I didn't take any pay for it. While it would be nice to earn some extra cash from photography, I think pursuing a career thr...

Because with a tripod there shouldn't be any movement and vibration. VR or IS will look for any shake and try to compensate it even when there's no need for that.

I'm also quite lazy to learn completely new software, and I mean truly new, not just upgrades. I know my way around PS and to lesser extent other products of Adobe CS and feel that they are enough tog...

Great shots from Matthew of the flowers, love the simplicity of the background, colors and textures. These look like they should hang on one's wall.
