The cards from my canon read just fine on my Toshiba. Maybe your drivers are shot.

Boy that sounds cool. I'm a rookie too but depending on the light I would have a ball with angles and available light. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Post some pic please.

I currently use a Canon 1D mark lll. It replaced my dead rebel. So much camera and lots to learn. It was not new when I got it from my son in law. I love taking his handme downs.

All these shots are in Waterton National Park in Alberta. Couldn't find any grizzlies or cougars but they are there.

Managed to get these two bull elk just as light was about to die.

A young cub eating. We saw lots of bears this trip. The other one is a lone male. Just had a ripping good 3 days. Shot over 700 pics.

Ed not as a rule. With the converter ones I tried to sharpen them. I used the converter with a 100 - 400 zoom I was using. I am not to good with photoshop. Lots to learn.

Just one of 800 or so images I took this last 3 days. Was trying out a 2x converter which I definitely dislike. Made too many of my images fuzzy.

I love my 28 - 300 mm. Only lens I have and it does all I need and more. Oh that's Canon.

No about 80 ft but he was upslope and I wasn't threatening. As a rule they don't bother with you if you don't pose a threat to them. Leaving tomorrow to shot some pics in Waterton National Park in Alb...

When I unload from camera I put all into an unsorted folder then I take my time moving them to appropriate folder. 1st job is removing bad shots then I let them sit before I analyse them. Helps me not...

Hi Amateur photographer using old Canon EOS 1D Mark lll and a 28 - 300 autofocus stabilised lens only. Love wildlife mainly and birds of prey in particular. Hope to learn things here.
