This is a complete estimate, but I'm guessing I've taken around 20,000 or so since last December. Around 6000 of those were with my dad's 2mp camera, and now with the other cameras.

I'm just like everyone else.. 6-8mp is more than enough. :) Anything more than that is just overkill for me, as I wouldn't really be using it. I tend to crop my pictures on camera, so that helps too. ...
