I like the balance here. A little more more sharpness on the foreground would improve it.
--Don Nikon D3100 with Tokina 28-70mm f3.5, (I like to use a Vivitar .43x aux on the 28-70mm Tokina), Nikkor 10.5 mm fisheye, Quanteray 70-300mm f4.5, ProOptic 500 mm f6.3 mirror lens. http://donschaefferphoto.blogspot.com/

Thanks Don. I would have liked more sharpness, but somehow I can't get it with my macro lens. More light would have helped a bit, I suppose, but with the existing lighting conditions I couldn't get past f11 without setting the ISO to a noisy level or setting up the tripod. The latter is a pain in the butt when it comes to shots near ground level.

Mini Tripods are good for product and marco shots prob only cost 10 - 15 euro too. (Don't know why I was thinking in Deutschmarks ...)

Quite superlative, G. Agree with Don about the sharpness, but hey, nice shot nonetheless.
