I love it! Just wish I could see the cat a little clearer.

I've visited the gallery.
I think this is a great shot, but since I hate cats, it's a little difficult. :o Cave canem

I have to admit that this is heavily manipulated. I had a picture with the cat looking out an entirely ugly window, and a quite nice but boring window. So I moved the cat...
Anyway I think it wouldn't look much different had the cat really sat in front of this window.

That's a beautiful picci - gorgeous colours in the interesting, old window. Nicely composed and finished off with a cat with nice markings. I love the soft focus effect in the window too. I love it
I agree with Colin that it might be nice to make the cat a little more visible - maybe try lightening its fur slightly? I wish we were having a proper Autumn over here. It just keeps on and on pouring with heavy rain and the leaves are just rotting and falling off - mucky green rather than Autumnal Polly

I love the glowing, hazy effect. Was that some kind of filter, or photoshop?

Very fine image.

Thanks for all the comments!
ST, the background effect actually is "soft focus" in PSP. For those who wanted the cat more detailled: IMHO the window is the main subject of the pic, I think more light on the cat might be somewhat distracting. However I prepared a second version (slightly smaller than the first one). Here goes: But I like the original better.
