Well - some of you may remember that apart from photographing weddings I also work for a German company named Faber-Castell. I have been there 17 years and am currently the State Manager for Western Australia.
As the wedding business has grown it has been harder and harder to find the time to fit both things in my life and still sleep at night. I have 27 weddings booked for 2010 so far - the most I have ever had in advance. My life is starting to look kind of crazy.
Early in November I was offered a job as a Pastor at my local church 3 days a week (not running the whole show - just part of a team). After praying about it with my family we have decided to take on the job. This will free up two days a week to work on the business and mean less stress and more sleep
It will also mean I will be doing the two things I love:
My faith and my photography. This is like a once in a lifetime chance to work my dream job and I am so excited about it.
My first week at the church starts in the third week of January - after we come back from the Philippines.
Here is a link to our church if anyone is interested in checking it out.

Blessings,

Best wishes Rev.
You will probably shoot me down in flames now, and say they don't call pastor's Rev. See if I care.
