Sony set to change the DSLR world?
#26

By the time we see another full-frame Sony camera the technology is bound to be much more mature... you know what they say, every silver lining has a cloud.

Sony does seem increasingly committed to the SLT approach, but it's impossible to predict their future products from what they've made in the past. By rights the consumer-focused company should never have built the A900/850 in the first place, so hopefully they'll surprise us again.

Well if one are to believe the rumor mill (one really shouldn't) there is a new Sony FF due to be announced this year, it will take a lot more time for the EVF to get close to a optical viewfinder.

Disregarding the EVF quality (which is bad in comparison to a FF OVF) no one really asked for EVF and it's "features" let alone complained about the FF OVF amongst professional shooters.

However interviews with Sony reps. seems to indicated that they won't lock them self into a niche market which sounds promising, so i hope you are right and Sony will surprise us with a A900 successor and not a FF SLT.

Strives to make photos instead of taking them...
