A few little birdies

Apologies for poor quality. Taken in the woods in dull light.

Another pretty poor shot, but many people have never seen this bird in their lifetimes.
This was taken at around 50-60 ft. I need a 600 plus a 2x teleconverter. Rolleyes

Nice tits.

As the bishop said to the actress. Blush

Local folk have mentioned the kingfisher before, but it has always disappeared when I arrive. This week was the nearest I have ever been to one - just on the other side of a canal. The far bank is not accessible except by boat. Trees and brambles and a steepbank are the obstacles. When the temperature picks up a little I will have another try. It has a tremendously long beak and a very short ar- er rear end. Big Grin
