for some reason, whenever i look at this photo, i get a slightly melancholy, wistful feeling, and the words to Don Henley's song "The Boys of Summer" come to mind... "empty lake, empty streets, the sun goes down alone..."

I feel the same looking at it, which is odd as the weather has been unusually warm and spring is coming early here. But this photo really does feel like an ending.
