This is really nice. Clean, quiet, peaceful, calm...and I want the summer back.

I agree it is calming and peaceful. I like how there is all that stunning sand and then there is your vehicle. Great contrast.

I guess the dark bit is the road and you are parked in the area of natural beauty. Tongue

You have got a lot in the picture considering. Cool

I did squeeze quite a bit in, it's 3 shots combined into the one panorama, added a false vignette to give the impression it was just one shot cropped.

I have a 9 shot one that does a full 360 degrees.

That's really cool! I would never have noticed that it wasn't just one photo. I love it! You did a great job!

This looks good enough to be an ad for that car. Congrats!

Well, it works. Great clean shot. All that sand gives me a feeling of thirst Smile

Very well visualized and constructed.

The sand has a very fluid feel. Probably a trick of the curling road - looks like a wave about to crash. And the car is a surfer watching it roll by.

Nice!

@slej A lot of the dunes did look like waves, and in places the sand had slid and flowed down the steeper sections.

@knox I sold cars for 8 years, wherever we go I always try to get "The Car shot", I have them in Yosemite, Death Valley, Grand Canyon etc...

So it could very well have been an ad for a car! Congrats, that's something unique that I don't often see.

Nice one, didn't think of the car ad aspect first but yes, this could have potential if the car was more visible and recognizable. I think deserts often look actually better in photos than in person, normally it's the other way round. May I ask where was this taken?
