Is there a good free tool to process HDR images?

Hello All

Am wondering what tools/softwares do you use to work on HDR images?
I heard there is a tool called GIMP but anything else?

PS: Am hunting for something that is available for free Smile

I used Photomatix. I think it was a trial version though.

I use Zoner Photo Studio 14 which does HDR. You could try later version 15 which is free for 30 days

Hi Samy,

AutoHDR is completely free...

... and is extremely simple to use. There are a number of presets, and you can play with the sliders to you heart's content.

Clearly not as flexible as Photomatix, but the price is right and the results can very pleasing. You can drag 3 or more 'real' HDR exposures into the working window, but AutoHDR can also work on a single exposure to produce a pseudo HDR result.
