i found this little baptist church in the middle of the countryside and i spent around 3 hrs just snapping away,, i had to try BnW for the first time..

How did you convert to B&W?

i didnt convert i used the cameras BnW setting, used in manual and tried different settings etc.

i have just purchased adobe PS elements 11 and that has the capability to convert files to BnW...

Good effort. First one wants a bit more contrast/brightness, verticals are not far away either on all. Keep at it. Ed.

relying on the camera to convert to B&W is not the best way, and you don’t learn very much either. Good basic images to start from. Let’s see them again when you have tweaked in PS.

I thought that I had taken both BnW and colour of the same image tried to have the same focal points and I am wanting to see what the difference is later. Thanks Dean n Ed for ur feed back
