Autumn river
#1

I came across a CD of photos I'd taken back in 2004. I think I was using an inexpensive compact camera but I can't recall any details. This image stood out from the others and I tweaked it a little in Lightroom. It won't stand up to any serious enlargement but I just thought the image was pleasing. I think the scene may be at Blairgowrie, Scotland.

Lovely saturated colours. I would have cropped off the bottom half of the river, below the rock in the middle, where the ripples start.

This is a very nice image, James, and a good composition. If it were mine, I would sharpen the trees a bit to give them more apparent detail.
