I like the composition and perspective of this shot, but somehow it looks not as a person would see the scene, but as the camera sees it - hence the high contrast, giving a rather dark fore- and mid-ground. Given the position of the sun in a bright sky, I would expect to see those areas warmer, brighter, and more colourful, so I think they need some adjustments in the computer.

The image as it is can make a good B&W and, when I tried a yellow filter in the conversion, the presently dark areas became a good range of tones. Whether it should be colour or B&W is a matter of personal taste - after the processing, both can be attractive images.

I'm not much much of a fan of B&W probably the result of how it will be processed to be in B&W would be more interesting. Nice composition.
