199A FLASH

hi everyone. Can someone tell me if the OLD 199A SPEEDLITE FLASH IS COMPATABLE WITH THE NEW CANON DSLR CAMERA'S. I HAVE A 60d

awh? It would be nice to know your name......

According to my info, the Canon 199A speedlight has a trigger voltage of 6V. This would make it safe to use with any of the current Canon digital cameras including the 60D.

Thank you "EdMak," I checked out that thread, which did lead to Botzilla.com ( thank you also "Wall-E" ).
And for the record "GrahamS" my name is Wayne. I was also lead to "www.photonotes.org" which provided even more information than "Botzilla.com.
