If your camera could talk, it would probably be grateful for some of the things you have shown it since you are together, but it could also want to get your attention.

Happened to me outside my house.
I was lucky and they pawned the entire bag as 1 lot.
I lost a 50mm 1.8.
Everything else came back to me!

Absolutely WRONG!!!!!!
Formatting after every download is the ONLY way to freshen the FAT (file allocation table) and minimize possible card corruption.
I've *never* had problems recovering images after a format, as long as I didn't shoot a whole lot in the meantime.
