taken with the HP Slate 7 tablet camera. Not too shabby coming from a 5 meg tablet camera.

Nikon D3100 with Tokina 28-70mm f3.5, (I like to use a Vivitar .43x aux on the 28-70mm Tokina), Nikkor 10.5 mm fisheye, Quanteray 70-300mm f4.5, ProOptic 500 mm f6.3 mirror lens. http://donschaefferphoto.blogspot.com/

Some viewers will enjoy the look of the whole image but, sorry Don, it doesn't work for me. Although the subject of the photo is the lily, the beauty of the flower is being overwhelmed by the excessive visual power of the background. This seems likely to be the result of the post-processing, rather than being due to the 5 meg tablet camera, unless a preset artistic effect was used in the image capture.

Just another opinion, of course.

Cheers.

Thanks Philip. I know I have kinky tastes. But in nature, I am overwhelmed by the background against the foreground. That's why I try to re-create the look in my image.
