I took this picture of a cock pheasant in natural surrounding to show off its beautiful colours,hope I have done it justice.Taken with a nikon d7100 with. 200 mm lens hand held shot.would like to see other pictures of pheasants if anyone has any

I am inspired by all factors of nature but set myself a mission to photograph just one at a time. The Pheasant was this particular time. I may take 20 - 30 shots but just keep 3 or 4
I used the Canon EOS 650D with a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM lens shot out from the car window.
Auto Exposure
Exosure time at 1/320 sec
F Number f/5.6
ISO Speed 500
Focal length 210.0mm
(Edit) I don't understand how the EXIF says ISO 500 when ISO's double up from 100-200-400-800 etc. ???????

I have seen Chocolates, Silvers and Whites but never a Blue one !!

Thanks for the feedback Johnytrout I have never used a 400 mm lens and only got into photography through wanting to catch pictures of my bird when doing falconry.
Having a bird on the fist and camera to hand I have managed to get my best shots with the 200/300 mm which is just about the correct length to hold and use.
Again I have never seen a blue pheasant before today so thanks for the picture Tel boy and again Ikisshorses keep the pictures coming.
At some stage I will add a few more pictures but at the moment my photo bucket for ipad just seems to crash all the time.
