A very good photo, Brian. I like images like this, in which the layers of tones of decreasing contrast from foreground to background add to the impression of depth in the scene. If it were mine, I would try adding a little more of the lowest foreground layer below the horse, e.g. if it is cropped from a bigger image, extend the cropping downwards, if possible, increasing the frame from 1000x468 to 1000x500.
