The Dark Green Fritillary Argynnis aglaja
Not as frequently seen as many butterflies in Yorkshire but this shot was taken at the Yorkshire Wildlife Trusts reserve of Brockadale where there is an established colony.

Thanks Ed - one of my favourite butterflies owing to the time it took me to know where to find them in numbers; as it turned out on the day they were there at every turn so I was well satisfied.
