- the Humber Estuary, England, East Coast. Photo taken from Spurn Point towards Grimsby.
The concrete structure is Haile Sand Fort, one of two built 1915 to protect the entrance to the estuary and had accommodation for 200 soldiers. They were re-activated during the second world war.
