Two of my favourites from the wild. The common toadflax Linaria vulgaris and the Centaury Centaurium erythraea - the latter used widely in herbal remedies.

Stick with your DSLR! I like your images very much. Could you have gotten away with a lower ISO? Is f40 really available on your 70-300? I know Nikon did a 200 and something lens that had f64 as a min aperture but I thought you had a min of f16? Maybe I'm behind the times and Nikon have stolen a march on Canon...Big Grin
