The Moon
#1

Everyone does the moon, but, I was quite surprised at this, because I didn't expect the Nikon Coolpix fixed lens with 60 zoom to do this good.

Yikes you are right! This is noisy but beautiful.

Nikon D3100 with Tokina 28-70mm f3.5, (I like to use a Vivitar .43x aux on the 28-70mm Tokina), Nikkor 10.5 mm fisheye, Quanteray 70-300mm f4.5, ProOptic 500 mm f6.3 mirror lens. http://donschaefferphoto.blogspot.com/

Hi Don. You know sometimes, I think noise brings out hidden aspects.....actually, still learning how to take the "best and right" shots the first time with the camera. This was in daylight right before evening shadows. Right now, learning "macro closeup" exposure with different settings on camera. It's not easy, or, not for me anyway............
