Only a Pigeon

Columba palumbus - Here in the UK - and I suspect elsewhere - the common wood pigeon and the feral pigeon are regarded with mixed feelings and certainly not the most welcome garden visitors. Yet, perhaps in flight they have a certain appeal to the photographer - what do you think; worth raising the camera or not ?

Great shot, love the sharp eye and the movement in the wingtips. As for the subject, I do refer to them as rats with wings LOL.
