Water Voles have become a rare sight in my part of Yorkshire, but hopefully may be on the increase owing to the work of conservationists and more suitable habitats created.
This chap had just devoured a small fish and too busy to spot me.

Nice Capture. When I was in Derbyshire we had hundreds of these things in local canals and the River Erewash.
