Flying Scotsman
#1

There was talk on the radio, this morning, about how the Flying Scotsman was back under steam and on the track once more. Made me think about the last time I saw her.

Ask yourself, "What's most important for the final image?".

She is at this moment in Rileys engineering sheds at Bury.
Due to get her steam miles on the East Lancs Heritage Railway also in Bury.
Weekend 9, 10, and 16, 17, she is hopefully running passengers up and down the
heritage lines.
Jan 23 leaving Victoria station 7am going to Carlisle.

Twelve significant photographs in any one year is a good crop.

Some of you might have seen a different Flying Scotsman:

This one is a World War I Mark II military tank, exhibited at Bovington Tank Museum in Dorset.

Never been to Bovington but always fancied a visit.
Here is a snap of the current Flying Scotsman, taken at Edinburgh's Waverley Station, earlier this year.
