Wednesday 13th April, just after 6pm in St James Park, walking from Buckingham Palace to Westminster, the dark blue skies contrasted strongly with the lighter blue of the footbridge and the strongly sunlit surrounding buildings and the London Eye.

On reaching Westminster, the Elizabeth Tower on the House of Commons (often known as Big Ben) was lit by the evening sunshine and backed by fairy talk blue sky and white clouds.

Hi all,

My first foray into submitting here.

I was playing around with the white balance, pushed it to the extreme blue and liked the effect. Hope you do so.

From the above, I was intrigued to see how other images would respond this approach. Rather pleased by the effect and the resulting image.

Recently, I saw a still life study and decided to try my own composition. Still life in blue.
