ShutterTalk Digital Photography Contest June 2016: Vintage

Category: Vintage
Contest Begins: June 1st, 2016
Contest Ends: June 30th, 2016

**Photos should be taken in the time frame above and include exif data. Entries will be taken until July 3rd to allow time for post processing.

Open To: ShutterTalk Digital Photography Forum Members
Contest Type: International Photography Contest
Prize: Amazon Gift Card (Undisclosed Amount)

Guidelines:

Submit up to three photos of digital photographs of some of your best vintage photo shots taken within the timeframe. The photo shots can be of vintage items, or of current scenes with a vintage look. The idea is to provide photographs with a vintage look and feel. Since we are doing vintage, more post processing is acceptable.

Images must be posted here in this forum thread and be owned legally by the contributing member. Please also submit information about where the photo was taken along with some brief details.

Digital photography entries should be family friendly and be taken during the month of June 2016.

NEW - Please include the EXIF data along with the photo for confirmation of date picture was taken.

The photograph should be interesting, draw the individual into the scene and have few distractions. We look forward to seeing your photographs!

Judging

Judging will consider different criteria including, but not limited to, creativity, relevance to category, and photo quality. Judging will occur when the contest ends and results will be posted in the forums as soon as possible.

A member can be chosen as the winner twice within a six month period. This will even the "playing field" to some degree to allow other members the ability to enter their high-quality photographs and have the opportunity to also be chosen as the winner during a new monthly contest theme.

Please refrain from commenting on other's posts in this thread until the contest end date.

I would love to submit a picture, but I seem to be too stupid. I can't see a "thread" nor an "upload" button.
Please help !

Winkleaf. Hit new reply. You then select Choose file, Add Attachment and once you get the option, Insert Into Post. Once you are happy you Post Reply. and that is it.

Ask yourself, "What's most important for the final image?".

Keep the file size under 1Mb, and the size no more than 2000Pxls, longest side. Personally, I would remove mail and phone number. Cheers. Ed.

The next is Inveraray Castle. Taken on the move out of Coach window. Nikon + Tamron as above.

My local church, St James, taken on 17/06 on the tiny little micro four thirds GM1. 18mm, f/6.3 1/640s and ISO 800. Could have reduced the ISO but thought a bit of noise might add to the vintage look.

Thanks everyone. I really surprised and had my money on a few others images. Jane: the main light is from the candle with a small led on the candleholder - wasn't confident it would work.

Hope you are feeling better John.
