Powerbook Stolen
#1

Last night my G4 1.5 Superdrive 12" Powerbook was stolen from my car in Northbridge - Perth.

They didn't take the power adapter and the serial number is S4H51708LRJ7. It is the current model and so there would not be too many of them for sale around Perth.

If anyone sees or hears about one it would be great if they could let me know.

Thanks,

Chris.

Ouch! :x
Sorry to hear Chris. Sad

Certainly if I see or hear anything about a cheap powerbook then I'll take notice, but I don't like your chances.
I just hope it was backed-up and your insurance company is co-operative. The only thing worse than losing expensive equipment is also losing 6 months work to go with it.

Hope it sorts itself out OK for you.

Hi Adam,

Yes - they put a screwdriver through my door lock and forced it. It is aluminium and has a large white apple logo on the lid.

Very small (12 inch screen).

Thanks,

Chris

Bugger! Sorry to hear that, Chris. I can't believe people would stoop to that level...

Any chance you can claim it on insurance?

Don't forget to check ebay too...

Yes Adam - that is exactly the same spec as my stolen laptop Sad

And no that is not mine as it has the box with it - mine was stolen without any power adapter, etc...
