Grand Day Final(7: the 20 megapixel mono)
#1

Yeah I know; in its webworthy incarnation, not as arresting as the single-shotter in the first of the series.
A mosaic of a few shots, combined with PTGui and blended to form a 400MB or so tif, cropped and swatted about with dodge/burn brushes of 1800 pixels.

Images were again taken with the Tamron 90mm macro(or, in my terms, a landscape lens that also does brill close-ups!) at ASA100, f5.6, handheld.
Hope you enjoyed my Grand Day Out, and that in some way you were able to walk around where I was and experience some of the joy I did...I must get on with some recording now!

Beautiful Zig,

The work you do with the tones in your b/w landscapes is just magical - it gives them a fantastic dreamy effect. Love it! Big Grin
