You should be proud to have so many great shots all over the internet. Have you considered using a watermark that made it possible for people to find your website from these photos? It could lead to more business.

Good idea about having your web site address...

Thanks you two. A watermark with my website addy would be good but these weren't originally intended for the web. At least most anyway. I have struggled with a proper signature to put to my prints and have ultimately decided on my own name in my own handwriting. Most all feline photographers do this with a pen on their prints. Tetsu, Jim Brown, and a couple others that put theirs on digitally such as Helmi and Preston Smith. My cat images are inspired by Helmi. She has also inspired Preston Smith as you can see from his images. In time with the proper lighting when i can afford it These are the types of images I hope to turn out. I am getting there as my last show was my best yet and are improving with time.

Those photographers have beautiful pictures, and I think yours have the same quality, Colin... Smile

I like a lot the idea of your signature... Your name in your own handwriting looks very personal, that is really nice... I like your hadwriting, but I find a bit thick the size of the pen, and some of the traces are a bit lost...

Hope you don't mind this is a bit out of the topic of your post, but...

I have seen in your pictures that you place your signature very near to the kitty, is this just web purposes, or you do it as well in your prints?

There is an art gallery here in my village, the owner is a painter and I want to frame some of my pictures to show them to her... My problem is this exactly... that I don't know if I should sign my pictures or not... and if I should where to place it... in the matting or in the picture itself...

Do you have any advice about this?

Ha Big Grin The brothers still call me that.

Irma, the reason I started putting my sig so close to the kitties is because some people would use their images for web and crop my name out. I agree with the thickness of the lettering as I have thought about that before you mentioned it. I'll will definitely change it.

Thanks everyone for the encouraging words.Smile
